About Six Flags Magic Mountain and Hurricane Harbor

Known worldwide as a thrill ride haven, Six Flags Magic Mountain features 16 world-class roller coasters and over 100 rides, games and attractions for the entire family. Amoung the park's world-class roller coasters and thrill rides are TERMINATOR SALVATION: THE RIDE, opened in 2009 and is based on the blockbuster movie, Terminator Salvation, X2, the world's only 5th dimensional roller coaster, Tatsu, the tallest, fastest and longest flying coaster, Scream, Southern California's first floorless coaster, Deja Vu, a looping boomarang coaster, Goliath, the giant among coasters, Superman the Escape, Batman the Ride, The Riddler's Revenge and many more. Within Six Flags Magic Mountain is Bugs Bunny World, a six-acre, interactive wonderland featuring numberous rides and attractions that will provide a real thrill for kids and adults alike. Designed for the pint-sized guests, Bugs Bunny World is the home of legendary Looney Tunes characters such as Daffy Duck, Yosemite Sam, Sylvester, Foghorn Leghorn and Amercia's favorite rabbit, Bugs Bunny. Attractions include Daffy's Adventure Tours, Merrie Melodies Carousel, Pepe Le Pew Tea Party and many others. Thomas Town, designed to entertain children of all ages, centers around a train ride on a Thomas the Tank Engine replica that transports guests on a journey through Thomas' home on the Island of Sodor. Visitors will be greeted by Sir Topham Hatt, the Controller of the Railway, who is also avilable to pose for photos with Thomas fans. In addition to other attractions, the area features a Thomas & Friends store. Six Flags Hurricane Harbor attraction lineup features more than 23 slides and attractions including Tornado, a six-story funnel of fun; Black Snake Summit, with tow of the tallest enclosed speed slides in Soughern California; Lizard Lagoon, a 7,000 square-foot pool for teen and adult activities; Reptile Ridge high-speed body slide complex; Bamboo Racer, an exciting 45-foot tall, six lance racing attraction; plus Paradise Pavillion, a catering site for company and group events and much more. New in 2010, Splash Island is designed especially for kids and families. Splash Island boasts water slides, rain curtains and squirting effects to keep everyone cool in the hot California Sun.
