Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry
About Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry
The Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry has been feeding individuals and families since 1986 who are food insecure. The Pantry is a 501c3 organization that runs solely on the kind donations of the community, businesses, city and grants. It is not religiously affiliated and never turns away anyone in need. We help the homeless as well as the working poor who just need a helping hand making ends meet. We are run by a diligent volunteer work force as well as our dedicated staff of 4. The Pantry is open to clients 5 days a week and accepts donations from community members as well as good neighbor supermarkets and grocery stores who donate food through the LA Regional Food Bank's "Extra Helpings" program. The Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry is affiliated with the LA Regional Food Bank, and is one of only a handful of local pantries that delivers food to seniors citizens and those who cannot make it to our main location. We welcome all to volunteer or become a client, regardless of race, age, ability, religious affiliation or gender. We are an equal-opportunity charity that gives to ALL.
